Key Responsibilities

Perform as Surgical First Assistant in the operating room alongside experienced surgeons Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient evaluations and assessments Provide thorough post-operative follow-up care and monitoring Manage clinic responsibilities including patient consultations and treatment planning Participate in inpatient rounding and hospital-based patient management Facilitate seamless care coordination with referring physicians and primary care providers Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted New York State Physician Assistant license Current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification Valid DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Proven ability to work effectively in both surgical and clinical environments Experience or training as a surgical first assistant preferred About Geneva, NY – Finger Lakes Region
