About the Role
The Company is seeking a Lead Business Architect for a strategic, multi-year finance technology transformation program. This initiative is focused on modernizing core finance platforms and redesigning the finance operating model, with a significant impact on accounting engines, data flows, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be a senior, independent leader responsible for defining the target state business architecture in critical finance domains. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the finance function, requiring the definition of business capabilities, end-to-end processes, data flows, and controls. The Lead Business Architect will also be the primary driver in translating strategic goals into a business blueprint, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, and championing the design of robust data and control frameworks. Applicants must have extensive experience in a strategic role within the financial services industry, with a deep understanding of core finance and accounting processes. The role demands a strong background in business process modeling, financial data acumen, and a proven track record in large-scale business transformation programs, particularly those involving a migration to a SaaS-based ERP or accounting platform.
