PEMB Estimator - Construction


We are seeking a detail-oriented PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Building) Estimator to join our construction team. This position will be based in-office and is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for PEMB projects.


The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience estimating PEMB construction projects and a strong understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for PEMB projects from conceptual through final bid stages
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate scopes of work
• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams
• Maintain and update estimating databases, cost histories, and vendor relationships
• Support bid strategy and proposal development
• Ensure estimates are complete, competitive, and aligned with project requirements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience estimating PEMB or metal building construction projects
• Strong understanding of pre-engineered metal building systems and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel preferred
• Ability to work full-time in an office environment
