Gastroenterology Physician

Whitecap Search Healthcare Partners is seeking a qualified professional to join their team in a full-scope academic role within a growing program.

• The department currently has seven general GIs who report to the Chair of GI.
• The program includes therapeutic endoscopists, hepatologists, a GI motility program, and a large pediatric IBD program that provides referrals.
• Expected schedule: 4 days/8 sessions clinical and 1 day/2 sessions administrative time.
• Role involves seeing patients at multiple network hospitals.
• Call schedule is evolving due to a merger, with a large call pool and limited expectations to come in.
• Involvement in teaching and academics is required, with engagement with fellows from various programs.
• Faculty appointment available through a local medical school.

This is an employed position offering a base salary with RVU bonus, CME funds, and standard hospital benefits, including malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology.
• New York License required.
• Board Certification required.
• New graduates completing their training in the next 12 months are encouraged to apply.
