While using in-house construction management procedures and experience, provide continuity and consistency of construction management with quality assurance and reliable control. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges.Expected:Currently authorized to work in USA without sponsorship from Wood10+ years of experience managing construction projectsProven capability supervising all construction trades across mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, piping, and process disciplinesStrong ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, project schedules, design specifications, and other construction documentsHigh accountability, consistent punctuality, and reliable daily onsite presenceProficient in MS OfficeOSHA 30 certification (preferred)Familiarity with Primavera P6, Procore, Hoylu, and/or other similar construction management and scheduling toolsWell organized, observant, good interpersonal and communication skillsDisplay both good judgment and leadership qualitiesAbility to work with timelines/targetsAbility to be assertive and drive culture change when requiredResponsibilitiesConstruction & Field ManagementLead day-to-day construction oversight for an active portfolio across the siteCoordinate and supervise all construction trades, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project requirementsEnsure field activities comply with site safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (cGMP where applicable)Maintain strong daily presence in the field and ensure punctual, reliable onsite supportManagement of installation, commissioning and completion activities for some materials andequipmentContractor & Stakeholder ManagementLead coordination with general contractors, subcontractors, and trade partners to ensure safe and efficient site logisticsResolve field conflicts quickly through proactive communication and issue escalation as neededRepresent Construction Management in project meetings, design reviews, safety walkthroughs, and commissioning planning sessionsEnsure that contractors meet expectations for productivity, documentation, RFIs, permitting, inspections, and compliance deliverablesSafety, Quality & ComplianceChampion a strong safety culture in collaboration with the HSE Manager and program leadershipEnsure all site work follows applicable SOPs, quality standards, and client-specific construction governanceInitiate safety, quality and environmental processes within their area(s) of control, includingtoolbox meetings, inspections, and the identification, assessment and control of risks inaccordance with Wood and client requirementsEnsure all workers within their area(s) of control receive appropriate training to perform theirwork in a safe, legal and competent manner including any Health and Safety and site-specificinductionsDocumentation & ReportingMaintain accurate daily field logs, progress tracking, and issue documentationProvide regular updates to the onsite Project Managers and Program Manager on project status, risks, and resource needsSupport change identification and documentation in coordination with Project ControlsAbout the company Wood is a global leader in consulting, engineering and operations for the energy and materials sectors.
