Senior Network Solutions Architect – Remote (NYC Metro)

Compensation: $190K–$260K+ Total Compensation (Base + Bonus)

We are working with a leading national technology solutions provider that supports enterprise organizations across networking, cybersecurity, hybrid cloud, professional services and managed services. The company has built a strong reputation for taking on complex enterprise environments while maintaining a highly collaborative, customer-focused approach. Their teams have the resources and technology partnerships of a larger solutions provider, while still offering employees strong access to leadership, autonomy and the ability to make an impact.

The organization continues to invest heavily in its Enterprise Networking practice, supporting customers across data center, campus, cloud networking, automation and next-generation infrastructure. Their Solutions Architects work alongside experienced sales, engineering and professional services teams and have the ability to design solutions across multiple leading manufacturers rather than being tied to a single technology.

They are looking for a Senior Network Solutions Architect to support customers throughout the NYC Metro area. This is a highly customer-facing role for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, leading discovery and whiteboarding sessions, presenting solutions and working closely with Account Executives throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate will bring strong Arista experience, along with a broader enterprise networking background across Cisco, Juniper and other leading networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, helping lead technical discovery, solution strategy and customer presentations
• Meet directly with customers to understand their environment, challenges and upcoming initiatives and recommend solutions that align with their needs
• Design and position enterprise networking solutions across Arista, Cisco, Juniper and other leading technologies
• Lead customer presentations, whiteboarding sessions, architecture discussions and solution demonstrations
• Develop high-level designs, solution architectures, BOMs and technical proposals
• Build strong relationships with customers and serve as a trusted advisor on networking strategy and technology decisions
• Work closely with engineering, professional services and manufacturer partners to ensure solutions are properly scoped and positioned
• Stay current on new networking technologies, manufacturer roadmaps and industry trends to help identify opportunities within customer environments

Requirements

• Strong enterprise networking background across routing, switching, campus, data center and related network technologies
• Strong experience designing and positioning Arista solutions, along with experience across Cisco and Juniper
• Previous experience in a customer-facing Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer or similar role supporting enterprise networking sales
• Experience working within a VAR, systems integrator or technology solutions provider
• Strong customer presence with the ability to lead discovery, whiteboard solutions, present recommendations and build relationships with technical and executive-level stakeholders
• Ability to understand both the technical and business side of a customer's environment and recommend solutions based on their needs
• Experience working closely with Account Executives throughout complex enterprise sales cycles
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to make complex networking concepts easy for customers to understand
• Relevant Arista, Cisco and/or Juniper certifications are a plus
• Must be based within the NYC Metro / Tri-State area with the ability to meet with customers throughout the region as needed
