Participates in all necessary aspects of the medication-use system while providing comprehensive and individualized pharmaceutical care to the patients in their assigned areas. 1. Demonstrates the ability to work in areas of pharmacy practice competently and independently 2. Manages patient drug therapy in accordance with applicable clinical practice standards3. Assures the appropriateness of all provider medication orders in maintaining a high level of patient care and safety4. Maintains current knowledge of medication use and disease states applicable to their area of practice5. Serves as the primary resource for drug information and education6. Provides in-depth patient counseling when required7. Participates in the training of new employees as assigned8. Assumes local responsibility and ownership for assigned tasks9. Consistently follows policies and procedures10. Continually seeks out additional training opportunities and stays abreast of new and changing information for assigned areas11. Demonstrates superior customer service, effective communication, decision-making, and organization to ensure efficient job performance and success12. The base pay range for full-time employment is $148,304.00 - $214,926.40 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
