The #1 priority of this position is to ensure that all floors in the public areas of the building (marble, carpet, tile) are kept clean and presentable.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- According to schedule & Palace cleaning procedures ensure that:
- Public areas floorings are buffed & burnished
- Carpets are cleaned & shampooed
- Remove trash
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Must be able to operate buffing and waxing machine.
- A high school degree or equivalent is preferred.
The ideal candidate:
- Responsible, punctual, quick on the feet and resourceful.
- Flexible as to work schedule. Must be able to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies.
- Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
