Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed, including aerosolized medications and high flow oxygen therapy.
• Maintain and manage mechanical ventilation and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as intubation, extubation, and airway suctioning.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
• Provide care for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU.
• Document patient progress and care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; NICU experience required.
• Active RRT credential, ACLS, BLS, and state licensure required; NRP preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• Proficiency in adult critical care procedures and neonatal/pediatrics techniques preferred.
• Strong ability to manage ventilators and perform airway management including intubation and extubation.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines as per facility guidelines; medical/religious exemptions reviewed individually.
