Trade Compliance Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist based in Spain. This is a high-ownership opportunity to build and manage trade compliance operations for a rapidly scaling international marketplace. You will sit close to day-to-day fulfilment activities, overseeing customs documentation, classifications, broker relationships, and duty management. The role combines operational execution with commercial thinking, helping ensure cross-border shipments remain compliant while identifying opportunities to reduce costs. You will work across Europe, the UK, the US, and other international markets as the business expands into new product categories and geographies. As the first dedicated specialist in this area, you will establish processes, operating rhythms, and standards rather than simply inheriting an existing framework. You will collaborate with legal, fulfilment, operations, brokers, carriers, manufacturers, and product teams to keep international trade running smoothly.
