Garrisons Lake Golf Club Smyrna, DE 19977, USA Description Garrisons Lake Golf Club , located in Smyrna, DE , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Pro Shop Attendant ! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Responsibilities: Responsible for processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as trained Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplace Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day Ensure property and it's amenities are secured daily Assist with set-up of equipment and golf carts Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager When acting as an “Outside” staff member Responsible for welcoming and greeting of guests and players in a friendly manner Explaining rules and course etiquette to all groups if needed Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet, maintain organized storage areas and practice facility Assist with the set-up and organization of the golf carts and equipment for any regular tee time starts or outing Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play of groups to prevent delays Answer all questions in a friendly manner. Keep a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary Ensure that each group has four players if possible Responsible for the picking up and cleaning practice balls when scheduled Ensure property and it's amenities are secured daily Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements: Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be coachable and have basic computer skills Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic Knowledge about the game of golf preferred Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement) Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
