Caregiver PositionAlways Best Care Senior Services - Cleveland South is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver in Brunswick, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to elderly clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, dignity, and overall well-being. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our senior clients and their families.Responsibilities:Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressingHelp with daily tasks, such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeepingEscort clients to appointments, social events, and other outingsMonitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the appropriate partiesBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients and their familiesFollow all protocols and procedures set by Always Best Care Senior Services and communicate any concerns or issues to the teamMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including care plans and progress notesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, preferably with seniorsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningExcellent communication, organizational, and time management skillsCompassionate, patient, and trustworthy natureAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transferring clientsMust be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if neededEEOC Statement: Always Best Care Senior Services is an equal opportunity employer and affirmatively seeks diversity in its workforce.
