Corporate Associate

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a talented mid-level Associate to join their Corporate Practice Group in our Chicago office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions alongside a collaborative team recognised for its excellence in mergers and acquisitions and private equity work. Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $400,000.00/yr Responsibilities Represent financial sponsors and strategic buyers and sellers in a wide range of M&A and private equity transactions, from deal inception through closing. Draft, review, and negotiate acquisition and disposition agreements, as well as related transaction documents. Advise clients on deal structures, transaction strategy, and risk management considerations. Manage deal processes efficiently, including supervising junior associates and coordinating with specialists across the firm. Conduct and oversee due diligence and assist in the resolution of complex transactional issues. Qualifications 4–6 years of experience in M&A and private equity transactions at a leading law firm. Strong background representing both financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers. Proven experience preparing and negotiating key deal documentation. Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills. Admission to the Illinois Bar is required. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.
