The Dean will also be tasked with promoting student recruitment, retention, and graduation, as well as fostering a culture of inclusion and mentorship for diverse student populations. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's School of Education must have an earned doctorate in education or a closely related field, a strong academic record, and a minimum of 5 years of academic leadership experience. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in educator preparation, accreditation, and licensure processes, as well as a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with a preference for those who have experience with diverse student populations, success in developing partnerships with K-12 schools and community organizations, and knowledge of online education and innovative instructional delivery methods.
