Acute Care - Staff Pharmacist
Part-Time | Evenings M-F
MLR is committed to delivering outstanding patient care and enhancing healthcare outcomes. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Staff Pharmacist to join our team and help us achieve our mission of providing top-quality pharmaceutical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs accurately and efficiently.
- Review and verify medication orders for appropriateness and potential interactions.
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of medication usage and patient profiles.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Valid NJ pharmacy license.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
