Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM, Day/Evening Rotation

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psych Registered Nurse for our Adolescent Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong de-escalation skills and experience in acute adult mental health care, with a focus on providing high-quality nursing services to adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the mental health needs of adolescent patients.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care plans and interventions.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage patient behavior effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain professional documentation in compliance with facility standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Maine.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing.
• Experience with patients experiencing thought disorders, psychotic conditions, and personality disorders is preferred.
