CT Scan Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with call requirements including after hours and weekend rotation.

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This role involves performing a variety of CT scanning procedures and other radiographic tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Conduct basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Ensure daily equipment quality control.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 3+ years of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• New Mexico license and CT New Mexico temp or permanent license required.
• Graduation from an accredited AMA school.
