Starbucks Barista Trainer, Las Vegas Fashion Show - Full Time The Barista Trainer supports the Starbucks Manager in running an efficient, professional, safe and profitable Starbucks operation following all company standards. Full‑time colleagues are scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part‑time colleagues are scheduled 12‑24 hours, with all schedules containing weekend shifts. Additional hours are based on business needs and colleague availability. Job Summary Oversee coffee and beverage production, ensure compliance with standards, provide leadership and training to associates, and support store management. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards for safety and sanitation. What You Will Do Follows and ensures the team follows Food Division Standards and Best Practices Provides leadership and directs associates in providing food products and exceptional customer service during shifts Ensures team prepares and presents drip coffee, cold beverage, espresso bar and pastry products to Starbucks standards Follows Starbucks merchandising, product presentations and signing standards Ensures team meets speed of service standards Monitors food quality using Starbucks checklists Demonstrates a positive role model for Starbucks Simply Service Steps Supports a strong working relationship with store management Provides ongoing training, feedback, coaching, and staff motivation to maximize team performance and satisfaction Maintains role‑model standards in grooming, professional appearance and communications Meets highest standards of workplace safety, sanitation, and equipment care as set by Health Department and company policy Utilizes forecasts, daily sales reports and weekly food cost and payroll reports to ensure monthly profit/loss goals are met Assists in preparation and production of all menu items Assists in ordering food, beverage, dry and paper goods based on budget and needs of the business Assists in product receiving and follows inventory best practices Performs other duties as needed Fosters an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities Who You Are High School Diploma or equivalent required 1–2 years related experience Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform Lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands Standing for at least two consecutive hours and lifting at least 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders May involve reaching above eye level Frequent use of computers and technology, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions What We Can Offer You We offer a dynamic, inclusive environment with competitive pay and benefits.
