ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. This role requires the ability to adapt and float to various units, including Med-Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit, as well as Overflow units when needed.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Intensive Care Unit.Float to various units including Overflow PACU, Med-Surg, Telemetry, and Stepdown as required.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer necessary interventions, and document outcomes.Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.Pass EKG exam on the first day of orientation in order to move forward with the contract.Job RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting (ICU).Active California RN license required.Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.First-time travelers are accepted, provided candidates have experience in a facility with 400 or more beds.Experience with PA Lines and Swan Ganz Catheters is required; this will be assessed during the phone interview.Large hospital experience is necessary.Job DetailsShift: Night, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)Weekend work is required.Ability to float to various units is necessary for this position.No scheduling requests can be accommodated; maximum of 7 days off is allowed, with no requests for time off within the first 2 weeks of the assignment.Join us in providing exceptional care to our patients in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
