Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced 3rd shift Production Supervisor at our high-volume manufacturing plant in Summerdale, Alabama. Shift is from 10:30pm to 7am, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise production employees, assign daily tasks, and track attendance
  • Monitor production schedule and input daily production numbers
  • Enforce safety and quality procedures
  • Conduct safety training
  • Resolve equipment issues - Report unresolved issues to the plant manager and maintenance team
  • Ensure machinery is running efficiently
  • Communicate regularly with Plant Manager regarding issues or suggestions for improvements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • 2 to 5 years working in a manufacturing setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team-lead role
  • Forklift certified
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Above average problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to lead a team and inspire
