About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Must have valid license in hand prior to start date Certifications: BLS, ARRT required Must-Have: Skilled in performing various x-ray procedures including abdomen, chest, and trauma cases. Experience with fluoroscopy procedures such as modified barium swallows and urodynamics. Knowledge of patient safety and infection prevention protocols. Description: Position requires the ability to perform a high volume of x-ray exams daily. The role involves working collaboratively with another technologist. Daily caseload can range from 30 to 75 patients, depending on the volume in the outpatient center. Special equipment includes Konica U-arm, Phillips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, and Zheim. Candidates should have experience with various patient populations from neonates to adults. Floating within the facility or to affiliate locations is required of all travelers. Prior experience in trauma levels I and II is preferred. Must adhere to safety guidelines and regulations throughout the shift. Familiarity with charting systems and protocols is essential for this role.
