How will you make an impact & Requirements Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care - Room patients, complete intakes, record vital signs, and document medical histories
- Clinical Support - Administer injections, perform EKGs, run point-of-care tests, and collect/process urinalysis specimens
- Provider Assistance - Support physicians during physical exams and minor procedures
- Documentation - Maintain accurate charts and enter clinical data into the EHR/EMR
- Administrative Coordination - Manage referrals, prescription refills, patient messages, and appointment scheduling
- Record Management - Scan paper records into the EHR
- Facility Upkeep - Keep exam and lab rooms clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards
- Minimum 5 years of Medical Assistant experience (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to multitask in a clinical setting
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Athena a plus)
