AV Technician

Marshall Industries Inc., an employee-owned company established in 1975, is a leader in the Audio/Video integration industry and we are currently seeking an Audio Video Installation Technician to join our Denver/Aurora, CO team. We serve a wide range of sectors including Healthcare, Education, House of Worship, Communications, and Commercial AV.Primary Role:The Audio Video Installation Technician is responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of electronic communication systems. The technician is responsible for installing the systems in the most efficient and effective manner. All installations must meet the highest quality standards set forth by Marshall Industries, while assuring a professional and safe working environment.Responsibilities:Pulling of electronic cableResponsible for the basic wiring and installation of hardwareResponsible for the operation of cable testing equipmentMeet all installation deadlinesResponsible for accurate tracking on timesheets, service/installation tickets, and inventory itemsOperation of power toolsFull compliance with company's and customer's safety programOther duties as required or assigned by company managementQualifications, Skills and Abilities:3+ years experience in installing and/or servicing commercial AV systems2+ years of audio DSP programming at least one of BSS, Biamp, Q-SYS,AMX/Crestron programming knowledge a plusAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCTS Certification a plus but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to plan, organize and implement skills allowing the successful completion of the project that are date sensitiveRequirements:Valid US driver’s licenseHigh school diploma or equalMust pass a drug screenCriminal background screeningSome travel is requiredAble to work overtimePhysical Requirements:Ability to handle heavy equipment and tools, and to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heightsGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small components and toolsAbility to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periodsCapability to lift and carry heavy objects, sometimes over 50 poundsAbility to work in awkward positions and reach difficult areasBenefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanHealth Savings AccountPaid Time Off (PTO) and HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) #J-18808-Ljbffr
