Senior Data Engineer

Looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support the Client, delivering enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and portfolio analytics that drive executive decision-making.

Responsibilities :
Design and develop enterprise dashboards, executive scorecards, and Power BI reporting solutions
Build scalable data pipelines and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems
Develop complex SQL queries, data models, and ETL processes
Analyze portfolio, project, financial, and operational data to identify trends and risks
Create KPIs and visualizations that support statewide IT investment governance
Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights

Required Experience:
3-7+ years in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Analytics
Advanced SQL and data modeling experience
Microsoft Power BI expertise
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:
• Microsoft Fabric
• Azure Data Factory & Azure SQL
• SQL Server
• ServiceNow PPM, Clarity, Planview, or Microsoft Project Online
• Data Warehousing & BI Architecture
• API & ETL Development
• Government or large enterprise environments
• Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or PMI methodologies

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Engineer, Azure Database Administrator, CBIP, PMP, PMI-ACP, or CDMP.
