Shipping Clerk

Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast‑paced environment where precision and teamwork drive success. Responsibilities Prepare and package orders using appropriate materials to ensure products are secure for transit. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload shipments. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements accurately. Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders efficiently in an e‑commerce setting. Manage stock levels through regular stocking, inventory checks, and updating MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems like AS400. Ensure all shipments comply with safety standards and company policies for shipping and receiving procedures. Assist in maintaining organized warehouse distribution areas for optimal workflow and safety. Qualifications Prior warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes. Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar ERP systems. Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and inventory calculations. Experience with order fulfillment, picking, packing, and order picking techniques in an e‑commerce environment. Ability to load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and loaders. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
