Facilities Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and overall upkeep of its medical office properties. This individual will play a key role in ensuring facilities are safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently while working closely with tenants, vendors, and contractors. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily building operations, maintenance, and property upkeep. Conduct routine inspections and proactively identify maintenance and safety concerns. Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems. Manage outside vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality and timely completion of work. Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant maintenance requests and facility-related concerns. Oversee building safety, security, inspections, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate janitorial services, landscaping, snow removal, and exterior property maintenance. Assist with facility improvements, capital projects, budgeting, and cost management. Respond to urgent maintenance needs and occasional after-hours emergencies. Qualifications Experience in facilities management, commercial property management, building maintenance, or a related field preferred. Working knowledge of commercial building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage vendors, coordinate multiple projects, and prioritize competing demands. Experience with medical office or commercial properties is a plus.
