Highlights: Work in an intimate 8-bed unit with approximately 300 births annually in a Level III Trauma Center Comprehensive perinatal nursing role including triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care – nurses do it all Care for high-risk patients including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and twin pregnancies (no deliveries before 35 weeks) Day shift responsibilities include outpatient fetal stress testing Opportunity to develop lactation and advanced nursery skills with support from onsite RN/LCs Charge rate differential available ($5.00) Requirements: Current California RN license in good standing Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required; 5 years preferred Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (NCC or AWHONN accepted) STABLE certification preferred Significant neonatal resuscitation experience required Ability to independently provide care, including attending cesarean sections and recovering both mother and baby Proficiency with electronic medical record documentation Completion of all required health screenings and background checks (note: THC oral swab administered on first day) Why Join Us?
