A busy outpatient specialty medical practice is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join its front office team. This full-time position is ideal for someone with experience in a medical office, patient scheduling, insurance verification, and EMR systems who enjoys providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients while providing exceptional customer service
• Answer incoming calls and schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and referrals
• Collect copays and assist with basic billing inquiries
• Update and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Support providers and office staff with general administrative duties
• Keep the front desk and reception area organized

Qualifications

• 1+ year of medical receptionist, medical front desk, or patient service experience required
• Dermatology or specialty practice experience preferred
• Experience with insurance verification and appointment scheduling

Schedule

Full-Time

• Monday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:45 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:45 PM
• Friday through Sunday: Closed
