About the Role

This position involves working under the guidance of engineering leadership on the second shift to build, repair, and troubleshoot tools and dies. The role exists to support press room operations and ensure high-quality part processing, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of production.

Key Responsibilities

• Build tools and dies from part prints, sketches, or instructions.
• Operate tool room machinery safely.
• Repair and troubleshoot various dies and tooling.
• Use data to ensure quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Support press room operations and die set servicing.
• Interface with internal and external customers to resolve issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and support safety programs.
• Assist apprentices and support production with die changes.
• Perform welding tasks as needed.
• Execute other essential functions as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified 4-year apprenticeship in Die Making or Tool & Die Making, or equivalent experience in a Tool/Die shop.
