At HUB, we believe the best work happens when people are given real space to grow and then given the autonomy to exercise it. We power progress and protect ambition: for the clients who count on us, and equally for the people who make that possible every day.
We're creative thinkers and determined doers, guided by values that show up in how we work together: with empathy, adaptability, accountability and a genuine commitment to one another's success. We foster bold ideas, celebrate curiosity and share what we know. Because when people grow, the work they do grows with them.
Our purpose is deeply human: to help people navigate the world on their terms, at their speed, toward their future. We hold that same commitment to the people building careers here.
Whether you're starting out or leveling up, you'll find the resources to evolve, the support to take on more and a team ready to back you at every stage.
Your ambition has a home here.
Discover a Career That Empowers You - Join HUB International
At HUB International, we believe the best workplaces do more than offer a job. They invest in their people, celebrate their communities, and build cultures where everyone belongs. We are proud to be that kind of company, and the recognition we have earned reflects it.
In 2026, Newsweek named us one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Culture, Belonging, and Community, and one of America's Most Patriotic Companies. We were recognized among the top 20 Best Finance Companies to Work For as rated by women, and our internship program earned a fourth place ranking in Vault's 2026 Best Internships for Insurance. These are not just awards. They are a reflection of the daily choices our people make to show up for each other and for the clients we serve.
We help individuals, families, and businesses protect and plan for what matters most through a broad array of insurance, retirement, and wealth management products and services. HUB is one of the world's largest insurance brokerages, with over 540 locations and more than 20,000 professionals across North America. We bring together the resources of a global firm and the agility of a regional team, giving you the tools, support, and community you need to grow throughout your career.
Whether you are supporting a local business, helping a national client navigate complex risk, or building your expertise in a specialized practice area, you will find that your voice matters here. Your work has purpose. And your potential has no ceiling.
We would love for you to explore what is possible at HUB International.
About Legacy Planning
Legacy Planning Partners, a HUB International company under their division of Retirement & Private Wealth, is growing and looking to hire a Financial Services Assistant to join our team in the Allentown, PA location on a Hybrid work schedule. Our mission is to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients, their families, and their communities through comprehensive and strategic financial planning.
About the Position
The Financial Services Assistant is designed for individuals who are serious about building a career in financial planning — not just looking for a job to execute a task list, but someone who wants to grow into the industry with purpose and intention. This role is focused on supporting one to two Senior Advisors in managing and deepening relationships within an established client book. There is no expectation of new client acquisition or independent sales; the emphasis is on delivering an exceptional experience to existing clients and becoming a trusted extension of the advisory team.
The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in financial planning and understands the fundamentals of investment and insurance portfolio management. They bring intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and a client-first mindset to the role. This background can come from prior work experience, internships, or relevant coursework. The role is collaborative by design — the Associate will rely on other team members for onboarding and service execution, and will thrive in an environment built on communication, shared accountability, and mutual support. A flexible schedule is available, including the ability to work from home when the day's workload allows.
An ideal candidate is someone who brings a warm, engaging presence to client interactions, a strategic mindset, and a genuine appreciation for the work they're part of. This could be a recent graduate with a relevant degree and internship experience eager to launch a financial planning career, or an experienced financial professional who wants to focus on client service without the pressure of building their own book. Either way, the right person understands that this role calls for thoughtfulness, collaboration, and a real desire to help clients make meaningful progress toward their goals.
Role Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Attend and actively participate in client meetings alongside the Senior Advisor, contributing to portfolio reviews, planning discussions, and the delivery of financial planning materials
- Collaborate with the broader team on client onboarding and ongoing service — this role is supported by team members who handle the operational and administrative components, allowing the Associate to focus on the client relationship
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of financial plans, investment proposals, and insurance analyses tailored to each client's goals and circumstances
- Build meaningful, trust-based relationships with clients by providing consistent, responsive service and demonstrating a genuine commitment to their financial well-being and long-term goals
- Work collaboratively with investment and insurance partners to gather information and fulfill client requests in a timely manner
- Track meeting notes and action items following client reviews, ensuring timely follow-through and adherence to compliance documentation requirements
- Participate in regular team meetings, contributing to a culture of collaboration, open communication, and shared accountability
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in related field
- Willingness to obtain required industry registrations, including the SIE, Series 7, Series 66, and Life, Accident & Health (LAH) licenses. Candidates who do not yet hold these licenses are encouraged to apply — Legacy Planning Partners will actively support and fund the cost of required exams as part of your development.
Desired Skills
- Genuinely passionate about helping clients work toward their financial goals and make meaningful progress over time
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and reliable follow-through on commitments and deadlines
- Eagerness to grow within the financial planning industry — this role rewards strategic thinkers who bring knowledge, curiosity, and a desire to do the work well, not just check boxes
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit — knows when to ask questions, when to take initiative, and how to work effectively across a team
- Dependable, accountable, and appreciative — someone who brings gratitude and professionalism to their work and relationships, and recognizes the value of the team environment they are part of
