Responsibilities

• Perform ordered diagnostic X-ray exams across the assigned caseload
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment, adjusting technique and collimation for each study
• Apply radiation-safety practices, including exposure optimization and ALARA principles
• Critique images for positioning and exposure quality, minimizing repeat exposures, and provide completed studies to radiologists

Travel X-Ray Tech Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent X-Ray Tech experience.
• Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by New Mexico and national regulatory bodies.

An outpatient heart and vascular department on the main hospital campus treats coronary artery disease, heart failure and rhythm disorders, with echocardiography and nuclear testing available.
