HVAC Estimator

Job Title HVAC Estimator Job Location Charlotte, NC OVERVIEW The HVAC Estimator plays a key role in developing accurate and competitive pricing by reviewing project specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and generating detailed estimates and proposals. RESPONSIBILITIES Review specification and drawings Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers and follow up to obtain written quotes. Attend preconstruction site visits (when applicable) Assist with detailed estimates and proposals. Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals. Provide accurate estimates and proposals. Partner closely with sales, operations and engineering teams to assist with the best solutions and pricing. Assist with the selection of contractors. Participate in monthly project review meetings QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of Sales and/or HVAC experience Strong skills in written and oral communication, organization, and time management PHYSICAL DEMANDS This involves frequent sitting and computer use. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be physically able to climb ladders and stairs and navigate job sites to survey equipment. Work may require performing duties outdoors in various weather conditions and exposure to dust, dirt, common allergens, or refrigerants. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position works in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
