Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse (RN) - Springfield, MO. This position involves assisting surgeons with vascular, endoscopic, and open cases within a busy surgical environment. The role requires collaboration with a team of nurses and surgical technicians, providing direct patient care across a range of outpatient to critical care inpatient settings.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 4x10, 0630-1700, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license (eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri), BLS certification from AHA, at least 2 years of experience in Level 1 or 2 Trauma settings (teaching hospital experience preferred); scrub and OR circulator experience, interventional vascular experience of at least 1 year, competent in conscious sedation
• Preferred Qualifications: Extensive Level 1 trauma experience with multiple years of practice
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role includes assisting vascular surgeons in the operating room and hybrid imaging suite, working with a team of nurses and surgical techs for endoscopic and open procedures, utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards. The candidate must demonstrate clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in a climate-controlled area.
