Service ManagerGreat Lakes Honda City is looking for an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead our growing Service Department in Liverpool, NY.We are looking for a hands-on automotive leader who understands that a successful Service Department starts with great people, exceptional customer service, strong processes, and accountability. The ideal candidate will have proven dealership service management experience and the ability to motivate a team while driving both customer satisfaction and department profitability.What You'll DoLead, coach, and develop the Service Advisors, Technicians, and Service Department teamOversee the daily operations of the Service DepartmentDrive customer satisfaction, retention, and CSI performanceMonitor and improve technician productivity, efficiency, and overall shop performanceManage department profitability, gross profit, expenses, and key performance indicatorsEstablish and maintain high standards for customer communication and serviceWork closely with the Parts Department and other dealership managers to ensure an efficient workflowMonitor repair orders, technician performance, labor sales, and departmental goalsRecruit, train, and retain top automotive service talentHandle customer concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutionsEnsure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and applicable regulationsMaintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe Service DepartmentLead by example and create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementRequirementsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of automotive dealership Service Management experience preferredStrong understanding of dealership service operations and fixed-ops performanceProven ability to lead and motivate a teamStrong knowledge of service department financials and KPIsExcellent communication and customer-service skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environmentCDK experience is a plusHonda experience is strongly preferred, but not requiredMust have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordEqual Opportunity EmployerGreat Lakes Auto Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
