Benefits Life and AD&D Insurance Flexible Spending Account 401K and ROTH Sick Time / Holiday Pay Health and Wellness Programs Job Purpose Provide high-level administrative and clerical support to the Safety Department and company employees by coordinating and tracking safety-related compliance training, and by preparing, maintaining and distributing internal reports as necessary. Roles, Duties, & Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule internal and external safety compliance training. Identify training needs with supervisors and the Safety Department. Research and schedule required regulatory training courses. Maintain employee training records in Spectrum and other databases. Assign and track online safety training. Prepare training rosters, materials, and classroom logistics. Coordinate medical questionnaires, respiratory fit testing, and required vaccinations. Monitor training attendance and maintain certification records. Prepare and distribute training expiration and attendance reports. Maintain the Safety Training Calendar and departmental schedules. Coordinate subcontractor safety meetings and prequalification documentation. Track safety meeting attendance and air monitor inventory. Assist with Site‑Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management. Maintain online SDS systems and print GHS container labels. Update and distribute active job lists. Prepare safety documentation for project bids and estimating. Complete required OSHA, MSHA, and state safety reports. Assist with OSHA logs, audits, and regulatory compliance records. Document and track incidents, accidents, inspections, and traffic violations. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and fillable PDF forms. Order and maintain department supplies. Support Safety Department operations and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Work Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to shift tasks and prioritize to meet required and changing deadlines. Requires excellent follow‑up follow‑through to close the loop on training and scheduled events. Must be a team‑player as well as self‑directed in order to accomplish tasks with limited supervision. Must understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information. Holds a clean DMV and can drive for company business. Bi‑lingual Spanish Speaking/Reading/Writing a plus. Adheres to all Hunter Contracting Co. safety policies, procedures, and instructions from Management. Education & Work Experience Guidelines High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel. 2+ years’ experience in a business atmosphere; OR, Equivalent combination of education and experience. We do E‑Verify, Background Checks and Drug Screens.
