Senior Project Manager – Building Envelope
Maryland, Virginia & Washington, DC (Travel Required)
Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades
Full-Time
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading specialty contractor focused on custom building envelope solutions, including curtain wall, architectural wall systems, and glazing. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven construction professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience managing complex commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Responsibilities- Lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review contracts, develop project budgets, and oversee project financial performance.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, procurement, scheduling, and field operations.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
- Conduct progress meetings and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers and project teams.
- Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
- 7+ years of progressive project management experience within the building envelope, curtain wall, glazing, or architectural facade industry.
- Strong background managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and contract administration.
- Working knowledge of AIA contracts and subcontract management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and construction management software.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
