Sales associate

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Associates to work part-time at Five Below. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers promptly, handling multiple inquiries efficiently. Understand and meet customer needs, providing product knowledge and recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling and promote store events and promotions. Resolve customer concerns and offer alternative solutions, converting returns into exchanges when possible. Communicate needs to management, including restocking and service requirements. Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives. Qualifications Minimum age 16. Flexible availability, including day, evening, weekend and occasional overnight shifts or travel. Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers, handheld and mobile devices. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers. Professional and courteous handling of customer interactions and issues. Basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems. Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training. Essential Job Functions Operate cash register frequently. Move, weigh, and position merchandise up to 25 lb and up to a height of 5–10 ft, including kneeling, bending, twisting and stooping. Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and place stock. Communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers via telephone and face‑to‑face. Assist customers across the sales floor and stock room. Follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts and schedules. Remain in a stationary, upright position 80% of the time.
