Overview Team Manager at Panera is responsible for ensuring successful bakery‑cafe operations, creating a warm and inclusive culture, and driving business performance. Responsibilities Build and sustain a culture of Warmth, Belonging, Growth, and Trust. Act as an ambassador of Panera’s Guiding Values and Behaviors. Ensure extraordinary guest experiences and high service standards. Coach, motivate, and develop associates; conduct training and performance reviews. Hire, onboard, and provide ongoing training to new associates. Maintain engagement, recognize achievements, and keep the team energized. Monitor and manage food safety standards. Lead and manage all aspects of the bakery‑cafe, including food cost, drive‑thru, delivery, and catering operations. Meet sales, speed of service, order accuracy, and café health objectives. Qualifications Proven ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated ability to run great shifts. 1+ year(s) of restaurant management experience (preferred). ServSafe certification (or ability to pass). At least 18 years of age.
