Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred

License: RRT license must be in hand at time of start, South Carolina license preferred

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT

Must-Have: Epic experience required

Description:


Position/Specialty: RRT

Shift: 3x12, Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM

On-call requirement: No

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs.

May be required to float to sister facilities due to census and/or staffing needs.

Facility allows calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital

Total Staffed Beds: 304

Charting: Epic

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

If this is a concern, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or extension assignment during the season.

Travelers should know that hurricane season runs from June through November each year.

The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.

Daily census information is not specified.

Candidate must have prior charge experience preferred.

Previous perm staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler.

MUST prioritize candidates that have a South Carolina license in hand.

Local candidates will be considered at a lower bill rate.


All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.


RTO after submission will not be accepted.

Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until the license is issued and active.


Traveler will be required to complete compliance on time for the proposed start date.


Modules are offered that may average 4 hours in total.


Module hours are included in the NBO hours.


Modules must be completed prior to start.
