Role Description The Title Officer is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Tomball, TX. This role is responsible for examining title documents, performing and reviewing title searches, and determining insurability of title for commercial and residential real estate transactions. Day‑to‑day tasks include analyzing chains of title, identifying and resolving title defects, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and coordinating with escrow personnel to support accurate and timely closings. The Title Officer will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to provide clear communication regarding title requirements, exceptions, and curative actions. The role also involves maintaining compliance with company policies, underwriting guidelines, and applicable state and federal regulations, while delivering consistent, professional customer service. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong expertise in title operations, including Chain of Title analysis and Title Searches. Candidates should possess skills in Escrow processes and coordination to support smooth and timely closings. Candidates should possess proficiency in Legal Document Preparation related to real estate title and settlement transactions. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, lenders, REALTORS, and internal teams. Knowledge of real estate title insurance, underwriting standards, and relevant state and federal regulations. Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment. Prior experience as a Title Officer, Title Examiner, or in a similar real estate title role is preferred.
