CDL A Driver

COAST 2 COAST TRANSPORTATION

Job Description

The CDL A Driver plays a crucial role in the transportation of goods, primarily operating regional and long-haul routes. This position requires a high level of independence, with frequent overnight travel to ensure timely and safe delivery. The driver will predominantly operate vehicles with automatic transmissions, adhering to all safety and compliance standards to maintain efficient commercial vehicle operations.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles on regional and long-haul routes independently
Manage frequent overnight stays to meet delivery schedules
Drive vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions safely and efficiently
Maintain compliance with transportation regulations and safety protocols
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
Ensure proper loading and securement of cargo for safe transport
Keep accurate records of routes, mileage, and delivery details

Required Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A License

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in commercial driving
Knowledge of commercial vehicle operations
