Position Summary: The Financial Center Specialist 1 is responsible for providing exceptional client service, operational and audit excellence, while attracting new clients and cross selling loans, deposits, and other bank products and services. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime pay. This position may be filled at a lower or higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills: GED or High school diploma 1 year of retail banking experience Previous cross-selling and sales experience Ability to travel across company footprint as needed Ability to obtain registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) Ability to achieve sales goals as set forth by management Ensure branch operational soundness and achieve satisfactory audit results Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Outlook, Teams Developed cognitive skills to include Judgement, Organization & Planning, Decision-Making, Problem Solving, Innovation Developed intrapersonal skills to include Ambition, Follow-Through, Optimism, Development, Tenacity Developed interpersonal skills to include Communication: Listening, Speaking, and Writing, Client Focus, Versatility, Resilience & Balance, Collaboration Developed technology skills to include Social Branding, Technical Acumen, Knowledge Management Developed leadership skills to include Developing Followers, Achieving Results, Implementing the Vision Developed sales skills to include Questioning, Knowledge, Sales Drive, Prospecting Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills: Bachelor's degree in a related business field or 4 years of related experience Excellent knowledge of all retail financial institution products and services Experience in other banking functions, such as bank sales, operations, and customer service Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, PowerPoint Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with supervisory responsibilities in the manager’s absence Contribute to the financial center's success by achieving assigned goals Engage in consultative conversations with clients to build relationships, cross-sell, and promote Fidelity's products and services Open new deposit accounts and process consumer loan applications Perform teller duties as necessary to maintain efficient customer service standards Maintain knowledge of all Fidelity's products and services Assist in vault responsibilities as needed Make calls to current clients and prospects to enhance current relationships and build new business Provide customer assistance related to banking needs both in-person and over the phone Assist supervisor with maintaining accurate reports Report any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary Assist in maintaining branch appearance standards Assist with mentoring associates Adhere to all bank policies and procedures Consistently exemplify our Core Values of Integrity, Community, Dependability, Excellence, Longevity, and Accountability Comply with regulatory rules and regulations evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability Perform other duties and/or special projects as appointed by management Physical Requirements: primarily sitting with some standing, walking, lifting and bending Fidelity Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
