About the Position

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-call required (up to 4 call shifts per 4-week period) | Up to one weekend shift per 4-week period | Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Provide direct patient care within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center operating room environment
• Collaborate within a nurse-driven OR team consisting of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists
• Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and charting
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as needed, including during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred
• Experience at or familiarity with Level I Trauma Center standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in the OR setting strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Background in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility
