Position Overview

The Licensed Insurance Sales Producer is responsible for driving new business, supporting existing clients and contributing to overall agency growth. This is a full-time, in-agency role for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, closing business, and helping clients make informed insurance decisions.

• Present and explain insurance coverage options based on client needs and risk profiles
• Meet or exceed new business production goals set with the Agent
• Prospect and generate new business through agency-provided leads and referrals
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and cross selling
• Ensure clients satisfaction and resolve questions or concerns
• Current knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines and coverage changes
• Accurately document client interactions and sales activity in agency systems

Qualifications

• Active Texas General or Personal Lines Property Casualty insurance license required
• Texas General Lines Life, Accident, Health HMO license preferred but not required
• Prior insurance sales or customer-facing experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and accountability
• Must pass a background check including state, federal, and county criminal history

Physical Work Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer or telephone
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, computers, telephones and printers
• Ability to lift carry up to 15 pounds occasionally (i.e. files, laptop or marketing materials)
