Surgical Scheduler – Newton, MALocation: NWH, 2014 Washington St, Green Building, Suite 563, Newton, MA 02462 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Hours: 40 hrs/week | 30-minute unpaid lunch Duration: 6 months, with potential for temp-to-perm Parking: Free parking available after one-time registration feeMust Have: Strong surgical scheduling or surgical coordination experienceJob SummaryThe Surgical Scheduler plays an important role in coordinating surgical procedures and supporting daily hospital operations. Responsibilities may include:Surgical scheduling and coordinationScheduling patient appointmentsAnswering phones and gathering screening informationManaging and relaying messagesProviding routine patient and staff informationCoordinating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionalsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate's Degree in a related field preferred5–7 years of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare1–2 years supporting senior-level staff preferredStrong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent verbal and written communicationStrong organization, multitasking, and attention to detailAbility to work independentlyKnowledge of hospital administration and healthcare regulationsProfessional demeanor and strong interpersonal skillsAlliedTech1At TalentBurst, we deliver more than talent, we deliver outcomes.
