Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Source and procure all raw materials, MRO supplies, equipment, and services at the best cost/value. Maintain appropriate inventory levels using min/max inventory management and just-in-time purchasing strategies. Analyze system reports and inventory trends to forecast purchasing needs. Create, manage, track and receive purchase orders while maintaining accurate purchasing records. Monitor delivery schedules and proactively communicate delays or supply chain issues. Develop relationships with vendors and manage costs Process small package shipments with UPS WorldShip software.Create Bills of Lading for LTL shipment and export documents as required. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree and 2+ years purchasing experience. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with changing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ERP or MRP systems is highly desirable.
