Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Description

Join a fast-paced rural emergency department as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN). This position is designed for experienced professionals with a strong background in emergency nursing.

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Floating: Required to float to nearby emergency departments every third weekend
Scheduling: Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

Valid RN licensure in Indiana
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
Completion of de-escalation training
1-2 years of experience in emergency services
Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 23 beds
Patient Ratio: 4 or 5 patients per nurse
Scrub Color: Navy blue
