Founded on a tradition of disciplined entrepreneurship, we combine creative thinking with deep expertise to make a real impact on our clients.The RoleOur client is seeking a Lead Software Developer.This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global team, providing top-tier service to existing and prospective clients while expanding the business on a product and global level.The successful candidate will be responsible to lead Prime and Equities trading technology delivery, partnering with trading desks to develop scalable solutions, mentor developers, and drive platform performance across global teams.What You'll DoLead the delivery of trading technology solutions for Prime and Equities desks, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Manage and mentor a small team of developers, providing technical leadership and supporting delivery across the US region.Partner directly with trading desk stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver solutions using agile methodologies.Collaborate with global trading technology teams across Japan, AEJ, and EMEA to drive alignment and successful execution.Oversee the development of solutions leveraging Python, React, SQL, and CI/CD frameworks while promoting engineering best practices.Ensure platform reliability, performance, and compliance with trading desk requirements while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.What You Bring5+ years of experience in financial services technology, ideally supporting trading, Prime Services, or related front-office environments.Strong technical skills in Python and SQL, with exposure to React development and CI/CD practices considered advantageous.Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing team members within an agile delivery environment.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work directly with business users and trading desks.Experience delivering technology solutions using agile methodologies and collaborating across cross-functional teams.Good understanding of trading workflows, financial markets, and the technology that supports front-office operations.What's NextIf you are ready to take the next step, apply now!
