Operating Room Registered Nurse

An experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse is needed for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working throughout the entire perioperative continuum, including Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU. Candidates must demonstrate relevant experience on their resumes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
• Assist in preoperative assessments and preparations.
• Support surgical teams in the Operating Room during various procedures, ensuring high standards of care.
• Deliver patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Preferred Experience

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• Gynecology
• Ophthalmology

Common Case Types Include

• Endoscopies
• Pain injections
• Cataract surgeries
• Orthopedic procedures
• General surgical cases

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a perioperative setting.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in Oregon at the time of application.

Schedule

This position primarily operates on day shifts and requires participation in a variable on-call rotation.

Compliance

All onboarding requirements must be completed two weeks prior to the start date for compliance purposes.
