Job Title: Frozen Food/Dairy Clerk Reports To: Center Store Manager Embrace the love for cheese and dairy in America’s dairyland, by keeping these beloved products stocked and providing excellent service to our guests every day! As a Frozen Food/Dairy Clerk, you’ll help highlight the best of our FF/D offerings. Whether you’re stocking milk, yogurt, frozen vegetables, pizza and ice cream or assisting guests in finding what they need, you’ll be a key part of delivering an exceptional shopping experience with high‑quality products. What You’ll Do Provide Helpful Guest Service: Providing excellent customer service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you’ll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Assist with Product Requests: Help guests find specific frozen or dairy items, taking special orders when needed. Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the sales floor is neat, tidy, and free of spills. Regularly stock and maintain product levels in accordance with company standards. Efficient Inventory Management: Follow the first‑in, first‑out method to rotate stock, ensuring all products are properly stocked and displayed. Ensure Product Availability: Ensure products are always available by filling items on display and checking inventory levels to meet department goals. Support Department Standards: Maintain the quality of the Frozen/Dairy department by meeting all expectations for product availability, quality, and cleanliness. Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences. Support the Team: Other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Effective Communication Skills: Ability to interact tactfully and professionally with both guests, leaders and retail sales associate team members. Safety Awareness: Full understanding of safety protocols and company policies, including the ability to recognize and address potential safety hazards on the store premises. Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of ability to learn equipment and procedures such as proper lifting techniques, trash compactors, balers, and power equipment. Full range of upper body motion. Lifting up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis. Work Schedule The Frozen/Dairy Clerk is a part‑time position. The work schedule will primarily include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail grocery store environment. We provide our associates with their schedules two weeks in advance, offering greater predictability & flexibility.
